The software of a major automobile manufacturer was dated, technologically as well as functionally, and needed to be replaced. Having seen various updates over the years, the software manages critical corporate processes.
While the amount of requirements for the replacement is immense, SprintEins does not merely aim to deliver a functional product. Rather, the goal is to enthuse the end-users, who should not only be put in a position to efficiently execute their daily tasks, but also they should be able to do it with passion.
Together with selected end-users, we ran a vision sprint based on which we developed an initial product-vision and experience. Given the complexity of the intended product, a number of discovery-sprints were necessary to arrive at an accurate prototype which enabled SprintEins to clarify the relevant assumptions and questions decisive for the final product development. This was well worth it, as in the end both core-users and management subscribed to the product vision wholeheartedly.
Furthermore, SprintEins develops the user-interface, including a system interface to the back-end, as well as core-components for the new software. A particular challenge is the performant and intuitive handling of big data in complex structures on the user-interface. SpintEins has delivered impressive results using web-technology.
